Developed an IC Engine Configuration - Patented.

Provisional patented this Invention. This Invention is about using the maximum explosion pressure of an Internal Combustion Engine which occurs at 10 to 15% of the stroke volume (from TDC) to convert to power effectively. In the present configuration, the  SHM of the piston near the TDC delays its motion to create volume and thus impacting the expansion of the blasted fuel to expand fast. Though a part of this converts to the speed of the engine most of the energy is lost in thermal form.  So I have developed an engine with new Engine configuration, with dual pistons and cranks  which are offset with 90 degrees and allow the expansion freely  as the pistons allow to create volume between them very fast and thus reduce the thermal losses. Also, this energy is converted to higher torques as the ignition and expansion of charge is after 17 degrees. This configuration allows the charge to work on a perfect  adiabatic process. Diesel engines power extraction is also an inspiration for this configuration. Automobile Companies appreciated this and few Companies like General Motors asked for a working model which involved much investment that I cannot afford.

The image shows the test done on the engine configuration for the said effeciencies on a 2-stroke 148cc engine retrofitted with a 50cc  cylinder and piston of the respective cylinder.
